LDG or Libyan Desert Glass is a Tektite, an impact glass from a strewn field in the Western Sahara Desert of Egypt / Libya. It is a Golden colored stone, ranging from white to deep yellow, sometimes with smoky bands, made of almost pure Lechatelierite / Silica Glass, it is the purest form of impact glass in the world.
