LDG or Libyan Desert Glass is a Tektite, an impact glass from a strewn field in the Western Sahara Desert of Egypt and Libya. It is a Golden colored stone, ranging from whiteish yellow to deeper yellow shades, sometimes with smoky bands. LDG is made of almost pure Lechatelierite / Silica Glass, nearly 99%, it is the purest form of impact glass in the world.
Libyan Desert Glass vibrates at the Solar Plexus chakra & stimulates spiritual healing. It is a protective stone & one of transformation, it can be used for meditation, crystal healing & modalities like Reiki and other purposes. It has been sought for centuries for its metaphysical properties, as talismans & tools, the most famous is probably the Heart Scarab found with King Tut.
