AA Grade is the highest quality, these are all hand mined here in NY. This quality is extremely rare in any serious quantity. The sorting to get them down to this size is hours of cross eyed fun picking and grading by hand.

These Micro Crystals range between 1mm - 5mm in size. This is what we call the Herkimer Diamond "Sugar". Hand picked and sorted for the highest quality in the world, the only way to sort these, hours of painstaking fun picking them from gravel & other grades. Double terminated Herkimer Diamond Crystals.

 HERKIMER DIAMOND QUARTZ GRADING CHART

AA Grade = 98%+ Flawless / Clear, No Contact marks, these are "Floater" crystals, Eye Clean, very minor micro inclusion may be present, This is the highest Quality.

A+ Grade = 95% clear, very minor inclusions / very minor contact may be present, but most are Floater crystals with no contact marks.

A Grade = 80% to 90% clear. Cloudy or Carbon inclusions present. These have minor contacts , key market or other imperfections.

B+ Grade = Contacts / Inclusions, sometimes floater Crystals

B Grade = Prevalent Contacts, Inclusions, may be single Terminations

C Grade = Heavily included, Contacts are present, Can be chips, Half Crystals, Etc.
