Platonic solids are the five unique, highly symmetrical 3D convex polyhedra where all faces are identical regular polygons, the same number of faces meet at each vertex, and all edges/angles are equal. They consist of the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron. These solids, which have equal dihedral angles and can be inscribed in spheres, are commonly associated with the classical elements (fire, earth, air, universe, water) and are used in dice, molecular modeling, and sacred geometry
