New Crystals for 2025. There is not a lot of newer production happening these days. The mines have been going since the 1960s and many of the shafts are very deep now.

These Phenaktie Crystals can get very big and well formed, from small to over 10 kilos. They have a silver / grey / white look to them, and are opaque. Gem Quality from this location is very rare. Many exhibit black Mica Schist that the area is famous for, and some even contain traces of Green (Dissolved Emerald).
Production is still very minimal over the last 5 years, however we did produce a good amount of Gem Grade rough that was cut into stones for Jewelery for 2025.
