These are the last New Crystals for 2026. There is not a lot of newer production happening since 2020, The mines have been going since the 1960s and many of the shafts are very deep now.

These Phenaktie Crystals can get very big and well formed, from small to over 10 kilos. They have a silver / grey / white look to them, and are opaque. Gem Quality from this location is very rare. Many exhibit black Mica Schist - the matrix these grow on, that the area is famous for, and some even contain traces of Green which is Emerald crystals or Dissolved Emerald.
